If Freddy kills the teenager in the dream world, then they die in the real world. The original film was written and directed by Wes Craven and features John Saxon, Heather Langenkamp, Ronee Blakley, Amanda Wyss, Jsu Garcia, Robert Englund, and Johnny Depp in his feature film debut.
